Please join the Berkeley Heights Diversity Council for a Community Discussion Panel based on the movie, Just Mercy. One Community. Let's Talk. Let's Learn.
The Berkeley Heights Diversity Council is hosting Just Mercy - Civil Rights Learning Opportunity - Group Watch & Discussion Panel. The movie, Just Mercy, based on the life work of Civil Rights attorney Bryan Stevenson, was available to rent for free during the month of June. If you haven’t already, watch it tonight! It’s a great movie for anyone interested in learning more about the systemic racism and bias in the criminal justice system.
Please watch the movie and join the BHDC for a facilitated Community “Talk Back” with guest panelists and will include time for community questions and discussion.
This is a great opportunity to hear from Guest Panelists from the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice, an attorney with the Legal Aid Society, and a former Public Defender.
